Actually, the Yellow Tang died in the March heater incident. So technically I have the Hippo and the Sailfin. They get along very well. Normally, I wouldn't have more than one Zebrasoma species in my 90 gallon at any given time. The Sailfin and Hippo have different enough body styles to have them cohabitate. Thanks a million Christopher, I like to see you thinking!:thumbsup:

Hank the fish is all yours! I want to get rid of it to make room for something else. I also want to get rid of the Hippo and Foxface. Personally, I think they are getting out of proportion for the size of my tank and rockwork. I know they will get too big, and I was an idiot. However, catching them is another thing. I know the day is coming! Hank, your humor is much appreciated!

Now the sad news. My Elegance coral baby is gone!

It vanished between last night and this morning. The whole mount and coral is gone. Ripped out of the sand bed and is no where to be found. I'm sure that it is behind the rockwork out of sight. I suspect a Gorilla crab has hijacked it.

Terry, that's what I thought. I have had some of my other frags turned over and dragged to the other side of the tank. I have an alien crab...thing in my tank!

I came up with a new saying today.
"Reef tanks are like a deck of cards, everybody is dealt a different hand!"
I guess everybody in this hobby has some lesson to learn. I think mine is, crabs are evil!

I can't believe it took your new elegance! Those things are EXPENSIVE! They didn't even bother telling me the price of the giant one at the LFS. Those guys love me. They just opened when I started my tank!

Just remember the old shrimp in a glass at lights out trick. It's worked for me more times than I can tell you. On a good night you'll wind up with crab in a glass in the morning.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing Melanie. It's suspicious that 2 things disappeared in such a short time.

Craig, I'm going to watch the tank after lights out, to see if I have a bandit in the reef!

Just lean it against the rock at about a 45 degree angle. Makes it almost impossible for them to get out.

Scott it could also be one of your larger fish doing this. Mine grabs stuff like that if it is in his way.

Have you tried working it out of the rocks with a turkey baster?
