Wow, I really like that coral! Nice addition Scott! I'm going to read back a couple pages to see if you mentioned where you got it...

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

I got Caitrina's Lashes at my LFS. They have another piece, similar in size and shape for $49.00. TippMan, I just got the piece yesterday. It opened in my tank within 30 minutes. It looked great this morning! BTW, it is a Black tubastrea or Black Sun coral.

You know, that is a good idea for really long chronicles. It could be like a highlights reel with perhaps FTS to go along with the dates. Of course, my highlights reel would be about an inch long with three photos. I may do that once a month. Nice suggestion Jack.

Although I believe I've read this entire thread, I'm interested to see the recap as well.

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Here's a recap of this journey.

Tank started in November 2006.
90 Gallon Oceanic Tech Tank
90lbs LS from Tampa Bay Saltwater (TBS)
180lbs LR TBS

First Inhabitants (except for CUC) Added early January 2007
Long Nose Hawk fish and Flame Angel

A lot of Macro algae so I added 2 more inhabitants.
Yellow Tang and Floxface Rabbitfish added late January 2007

First Corals. Added late Jan-Feb 2007

March 2007, had a crash. Heater exploded in sump, sent noxious chemical into tank. Lost Yellow Tang, Flame Angel and Six Line Wrasse. Saved, Foxface, Watchman Goby, Long Nose Hawk fish, 2 perculas, all still with me today. On the morning I awoke and discovered this there was a delivery at the door of my Blue Spot Jawfish, Dotty and a Blue Crocea clam. After many WC's, fish in QT and lots of carbon, 2 days later the fish went back into the DT.

BSJF added March 2007. RIP, disappeared Aug 2007.

Late March 2007, modded trickle to refugium.

Added April 2007 (at different times)

Added July 2007 (Mystery Wrasse)

November 2006

January 2007

February 2007

March 2007

May 2007

July 2007

August 2007

September 2007

Some of my current inhabitants.

Again start, today.

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Nice! Like seeing those tech tanks awhile after they've been up. I can use your recap to bolster my argument to the hubby to get one!!!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Thank you for the recap. It is nice to see the growth and change over time. With the limited amount of time I can get on the site, I struggle with threads that are as lengthy as many chronicals are.
