Hey Scott I have a question for you.
What temp do you keep your tank?

TBS suggests

My nano I keep at 80
but the 55g I'm trying to keep lower.
I have been able to keep it in the 77-79 degree range
I've only been running the mh lights about 5 hrs.day
I put a fan blowing on the sump in the stand and The max temp has been 78.5

I try to keep my tank at 77-78, but it fluctuates between 77-81 depending on how hot it is outside. I do have a Geotronic chiller, even it can't keep up with the heat wave we've been having in Virginia!

Although I agree that the cooler temperatures help to keep the parasites dormant, it's near impossible, without a decent sized chiller, to keep a 90 gallon tank at 77 or below.
