Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Well it is a better camera than the two point and shoots I use. Still amazing what you can do with a point and shoot digital these days. I really love the tank though.

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

You have the best looking tank!! Love the video. You said a long time ago that you feed a lot and I believe you now. When all that food hit the tank I said "Wow!". Those guys went nuts, it was fun!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Thanks Greg! I feed that much once daily. Can you say nitrates! Actually, they are now under 20ppm so I'm not too concerned. I read that clams and Elegance corals need, or can tolerate, a little nitrate.

On my way home from Terry's today I stopped by one of our LFSs and picked-up two cleaner shrimps and a Fromia star. I carefully acclimated them and the minute I put them in the tank, my Mystery wrasse was in hot pursuit and ate one of the shrimps! I was afraid they were too small! Here's the smug little SOB!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

No more Mysery on their dietary preferences, eh? What was the cost of that meal and is cleaner shrimp #2 safe?

Bummer for sure Scott!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

It was filet mignon at $30.00. I fear the other one is not safe! I knew of their dietary preferences, but the wrasse has not bothered my other shrimps. In fact, I have seen my bigger shrimp cleaning him. These were just too small! I could kick myself.

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

A mystery wrasse catfish? New species discovered at Scotts!

If it comes from above, it must be food.
That sucks.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
