Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Very beautiful tank and love the video. Great point keeping the 'art' at the office and tanks at home.

Hi Scott!

Can't believe I have missed so much of your thread. I just got caught up on the video. That was a lot of fun to watch! You Blue made me a bit dizzy though. Spotty sure gets out there. Does he hang out when it isn't dinner time too or is he just out mostly for food? BJ stays in his hole (I would too if I had to eat with a Palani that was 20 times bigger than me). Anyway, your tank is looking great and very mature.

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Scott, is that a colt and another right next to eachother? The one I was referring to is the one that almost looks like a gorgonian, looks like it may even be sticking out of the water a bit. Love the FTS!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Craig, thanks! You're one of the Reeforama's biggest fans!

Lorraine, Spotty is all over the place now. He doesn't stay in one place for very long. He is still skittish, especially when the bigger, faster fish are in the area. If they are napping or hiding in the rockwork, he is out and about. He pretty much stays near cover though. If I approach the tank and he is not visible, I will gently tap the glass with my fingernail and he will pop his head out. It's like a dinner bell.

Mark, , you lucky guy!

Nikki, thanks remember what I said about creating value in your work. You are worth it!

Adam, you are right, the other one is a Gorgonian, it's a Plexaplura species from the Caribbean (Gulf of Mexico). There is another one on the right. They generally are standard with the package from Tampa Bay Saltwater rock.

Here is my tank January 2007, before I added the Colt.

For comparison.

A closer shot.

The tank is looking great Scott. I see your Mystery Wrasse is cruising the tank. My Mystery is one of my favorites. He is always moving around the tank. Great fish!!!

Re: Dentoid's Reeforama

Thanks again Craig!

Adam you have a PM.

Heinz, I hope you can obtain one of these in Germany, they are a great, hardy Gorgonian.

Reza, thanks for stopping by. I really like the Mystery wrasse's demeanor. Smooth and elegant.

Wiggle fest at feeding time.
