He came out! Yippee I get to watch him! For all you Bluespot junkies - here is a peak.

As long as the PH doesn't go below 7.8 at night and my alk stays high, I don't plan to intervene. Looks like aeration is helping.

I only have one Bluespot. I am so tempted to get the other one, but past it up on Saturday because of the PH instability in the tank. We will see.

Hi! I just love the foxface photo. Hows the PH doing? Do you have a water testing facility nearby? It might be worth some peace of mind to know if your test results are accurate. You can check with your county extension service for location of a water testing facility. Wells have to be tested for safety before being put into use...

My previous post was a bit rude - I am honored to have one Bluespot. For those of you still trying to find one I apologize!

Fox face is very difficult to photograph, but he does love himself - displays when he sees himself in the glass! He misses is Nasa, they were buds.

PH stayed up at 8 overnight so I am going to just keep monitoring. 7.9 and 8 have been normal for a while, I just haven't mentioned anything. The dip to 7.85 scared me but I think the problem has been identified and I think we are stable again.

Called the LFS today to see if they still had the Bluespots. They sold one on Sunday and the other one earlier today, so I don't get to bring one home. They expect more on Friday.

That's a bummer. Perhaps they shipped one to my LFS! Did you see my post, I think #105, about Blue Spot Awareness day? Let me know. I'm doing some research on them.

Sorry I didn't respond to the post, but I haven't come up with any ideas yet. Any day is Bluespot awareness day for me, especially the days I don't get to see him. May works good though. Will this be a month, week, or day event? What day is Lynn getting her's? Wish I had a better camera to get some good photo shots. I could get better pics of mine and each week go in a get other pics from the LFS.

I was thinking we could come up with some interesting facts about Blue Spots. A list of bullet points. I was considering having a friend who is a computer artist come up a cute Blue Spot badge to put in the signature area. Maybe May is too far away. It could have a catchy title, something that will catch everyones eye. Will raise everyones awareness. Could be fun project. Awareness Day sounds good, hopefully, the thread will go on longer.

Let's reactivate the Bluespot Club forum and talk about it more there. They just started the coral topic of the week, I think we could sneak in a Bluespot week into that forum. We would need to modify how the discussion occurs since it appears I am the only one who actually has one (until this Friday that is).

Fish - Foxface, Yellow Tang, Mimic Tang, 2 Tomato Clowns, pair True Percula Clowns (and their 6 inch pastel green carpet), Mandarin, Scooter Blenny, Bartlett's Anthias, Royal Gramma, Pseudochromis Splendens. Blue/Gold Crocea Clam, Teardrop Squamosa Clam Coral favorites include: 2 Acanastreas, Pink Cynaria, Green Cynaria, Birdsnest, Trumpets, Red and Pink and Green Goniporas (3), Frogspawn (peach favorite), Fox Coral, Diploastrea, Blasto, 3 Fungia (orange, purple, and green) and many others.
