Sorry guys, I left you! Did the wine - dah - that is always the place to start when you have problems you can't solve. I knew that without even looking at the post - aren't I smart? I got the old UV sterilizer out (by myself), so now I have motivation to install the new one tomorrow. (Must have a previous note to self stored in the brain that it is a bad idea to install UV sterilizer after wine.) The rusty screws were fun! Only ended up dropping one of them in the sump (an accomplishment BTW). Then, black gritty stuff came oozing out (8 years of carbon, etc).

I've already warned the hubby that this is one project he will be helping with. My back isn't going to hold up if I try this myself. He can't believe there is still another project to do. I have no idea how to get this new one to work. I had a plan, but that ain't going to work - more wine required! Lights are out on the tank, so wine and the computer will have to do. I sure hope everything is clearer in the morning. I'm at a loss. These things are huge! And, I have to work in a valve and split line for the refugium too.

My tank is so quiet and peaceful now. Didn't realize how noisy the airtube on the ASM was until it is gone. Oh, BTW, I also figured out how to make my tubing disappear from the middle of the front room. I'm so smart when I have wine!

Oh and did you figure out the first one isn't a frogspawn? It is what else spawned today though - my new topoff tank (and settling tank on top of it).

I saw that. I keep getting kicked out of my own tank journal. I must not like myself. More wine to fix the photo problems - or is that the problem with the photos. I am so confused!
