Where are your adventures? I had to go to the second page, how can I find you there? Here's a bump and a reminder to post in your journal...

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

LOL I will I promise. As soon as I get through my crisis. Right now I am so freaked and discouraged I am ready to put the whole thing up for sale. Hopefully at least I will be better in the morning if not the tank.

You mustn't sell your tanks! You are the friendly welcome wagon here at RS. You never make me feel stupid when I say "What is that black thingy at the top that returns the water into the tank? Is that a powerhead?" lol.

One of the best advice I got here was take a little break if you are feeling overwhelmed.

I hope you feel better this morning.

Thanks for the good thoughts. How can I make you feel stupid talking about the black thingy when I am asking about the red do-da?
Anyway things are at least back in perspective and I am trying to get my reef happy agaiin. As always the peeps at RS came through for me and got me headed in the right direction as well as got me to calm down. The best one was I believe Dr Hank who threw my own sig line about a racecar back at me. That had to make me think. Anyway back to work today after a week so that should be interresting, I need to re-scape after the mess this weekend and then get some pics up.
Also Frank and I had a long talk about the seahorse tank and he may be making my modifications soon. He actually understood my talk of thingies and do-das to re-do the chiller. He just wants to add a few things for safety like a vakve and a float switch that I hadn't though about so look for that project coming up.
Meanwhile I have a giant shipment coming in with a new skimmer for the 20g, 2 phosban reactors, and I honestly don't remember what else. The skimmer will be going on very soon and hopefully the other stuff doesn't wait too long.
Anyway, I babble in the morning (and afternoon, and eveniing ) so I am headed off to the shower.
Have a great day everybody, I'll keep you posted tonight on my test results,

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Doing pretty good. Haven't done much so far except clean both skimmers. Going to head to the lfs in a few to hopefully get a replacement clown. Other than that, pretty slow day here. Gotta pester Frank to hook up the reactors.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

I should be able to do pic day tomorrow. Only problem is I didn't stop to get water at my normal lfs. I get home and there is a message telling me about all this new stock he got in and I need to go by. EEK How am I going to get just water? Grr
Oh yeah, found a new clown today. Hopefully she will get along with the little boy already in the tank. The clowns seem to be getting along fine but the flameback that is in there in time out seems to be picking on the clowns. I really need to talk Frank into selling the flameback. He can't go back in the reef since he was eating my corals and there is just not room for him in the 20 with the clowns.
Oh I did have a small breakdown and bought a yellow watchman goby for the former pony tank. He can go into the reef if/when I get ponies again but I needed something other than a shrimp and a clown goby in the tank. It just looked too empty.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully just water and pics. LOL But you never know what he may have found just for me.
