Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Thanks everybody.
Nothing new going on. Just trying to clean up the house for Mother's day. Going to do a water change in a bit. Maybe I'll take some new pics after some glass cleaning and a water change.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Why thank you. Since I am just a step-mom I never know what to expect. Today 2 of the girls called just to say happy mothers day. One of the best feelings in the world. I almost cried. And one of them has a present for me that I will get next week. I hope it is a picture or something she made herself. Those are the best presents. Of course the phone call was enough present for any step-mom.

Thumbs up Visit & Dinner

I just wanted to say to Lynn & Frank that your reef is gorgeous! It is obvious that you take VERY good care of it and the inhabitants! It is very clean, the fish are very healthy, and everyone gets along. ((There are few things more unsettling than to watch fish chase & fight eachother in an aquarium)) The variety of fish you have is amazing and their colors are beautiful! Excellent work you two!

Thank you both for inviting me into your home again Frank is an awesome cook (grilled london broil ) The dinner was delicious! (especially the 'pretty' corn) LOL!

Thanks ~

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Thanks for the compliments. Coming from you that makes me very happy.
BTW as usual you are right. Since I was home being sick yesterday, I spent quite a bit of time staring at the tank and guess what I saw. The flameback munching away on the one LPS I have back as well as my recently declining sponge. We are borrowing a fish trap this weekend to remove him from the reef. I may try to put him in the new setup (That only you know about. Grin) but I am a bit worried about the bio-load. He may go in the fuge until it is more established and I put some LR from the fuge into the new tank.
I think you were also right about the chromis. He is still not recovered but he seems much better in the other tank without the other 2 chromis.
As always it was great fun having you visit. And we found a new LFS to add to our rounds. If nothing else we can play with the baby birds. I so want that cockatoo I was playing with but know I don't have the time to devote to another high maintenance pet.
The "pretty" corn was good. Plus it was fun to giggle in the grocery store.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

LOL
I wondered who would catch that.
I will hopefully have pics tonight and will post them as soon as I do.
You will just have to wait a little bit.
