Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Ok well there is nothing new to take pics of right now except an itty bitty frag of aleviapora. I should be getting lots of goodies in the morning. I'll take pics before I even acclimate. I don't want the bluespot to disappear into the reef without at least one pic first. I am hoping with my 3 sided tank it will pick a home that I can see from one angle or another but you know how fish can be. It will probably pick the one side that I can't see just to drive me crazy. Of course that is where my engineer goby has his home so hopefully bluespot will choose the other end of the tank and we won't have any territory arguments.
I am getting excited and nervous. I have never prdered livestock over the net before. I hope everything is ok particularly since this place is on the west coast. My new baby has to travel cross country tonight. I took the day off tomorrow so I have lots of time to do a water change first thing in the morning and then acclimate and watch the tank the rest of the day. I want to be sure everything is nice and happy when I introdues the new fish. I did order quite a lot so I will get water ready for a second change if necessary as soon as I finish the one tomorrow.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

I know how you feel! My BS came from the West coast too and it was the first time I had ordered on line. Not only that, the morning she arrived I was in the middle of heater hell. She sat in the bag, in the packaging box for 24 hours from the time she was shipped to the time I acclimated with no deliterious effects. I think they are pretty hardy fish as long as they are packaged well. I'm so happy for you. Can't wait to see the little nino'!
