Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

I wish I could blame it on shipping but I have had him for several months. He started acting strange last Friday. He was perfectly fine before that. Friday he moved to the corner and has been going downhill since. I wish I had some idea of what is wrong though. He never had any sick like symptoms. No spots or fin damage no breathing heavy. Very odd.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Sorry he's not doing well... Maybe he's being bullied by the fish that's living in his home. Good Luck!

Again the timing is wrong. He started acting wierd on Friday and I didn't have my little mishap (LOL) until Monday. Even the new fish I got weren't added till Friday night and Saturday and he was in the corner Friday morning. The orange spot has been in the tank longer than the black capp and is really one of my most shy fish. I will probably never know what is going on. Hopefully I can nurse him through. I will try my best at least.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Checking in on the Black cap and other tank events. I was looking through my Coral book today and thought about you when I came across a picture of a Sea Pen. How is yours doing? Sorry if I missed something! Hope Black Cap is doing well.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Well the sea pen only lasted a couple of days. I could never get it to stay anywhere and it soon perished. Lesson learned I guess. My lfs has them again but this time they stay in the store.
Unfortunately the black cap passed away sometime during the day yesterday. We still don't know what happened but everybody else is just fine. I just gave them all dinner and everyone ate and looked happy. Man my six-line is getting fat. LOL

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

LOL Probably next weekend. We should get our income tax refund late this week and that is the one thing I want to buy with a little of the money. The rest needs to go to bills and braces for the last kid. LOL I need to get something out of it to enjoy though and I think the bluespot wins. I will keep you posted. I think I am going to have to break down and order one myself since the lfs does not seem to be getting them anymore.

Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

I guess it was. There was no external damage so I don't think it was someone picking on him. The water paramaters are great and everybody else is doing just fine.
The ponies are really starting to eat now so I am much more relaxed about them as well. They ate from the beginning but now they have settled in and eat a whole lot more and much more quickly. They are obviously happy. Which makes me happy.
No new tank stuff this weekend. We had company from Germany so that pretty much took all my time. Next weekend I should be able to start my bluespot search.
