| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. LOL For sure. Actually he re-did the eggcrate so now it covers everything. I should be ok now except maybe the clown goby. He is just so tiny he can fit through most anything. He would have to have good aim though to make it out. The power heads and wavemaker are now working. Corals are coming back out and everything looks fine. I got off really cheap on this one. A $15 light, and a heater however much they are. Usually it isn't even in the tank since we are in Florida. I'll get a new one at some point but no big deal. Apparently our tank is now Lynn proof as a result. So I guess that is a good thing. I just know I am finally breathing right again. I am so relieved. I thought I had fried the lights and everything. Not just my little work light.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. You aren't the only one who was worried. I am so relieved. I got a good scare. Hopefully it has taught me to be more careful when working around the tank. I should remember this one for a while. ![]()

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. Wow.. how did I fall so far behind in your thread Lynn?! Congrats on the new ponies!! They are A-dorable~ I know how much you wanted some again. That was very sweet of Frank to get them for you! Ouch.. so sorry about your heater/spill mishap but I am THRILLED that you were not harmed! That could have turned out much worse... Repeat after me.... NEVER reach into water to remove an electrical device that could be shorted! Turn off the power first. I know it is tough to remember such saftey precautions but you have to. I am very happy your fish are all doing fine ![]() Don't feel bad.. we all have bloops ![]()

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. I know. I didn't even think about getting electrocuted. I was worried about the fish. When I told Frank the story his voice started shaking cause he was really freaked out. By then the bad part was over though. Yes Steve, I did burn up some major good karma today. It was only after the fact that I realized how much danger I was actually in.

| Reefing Addict | Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. Me too Woody!! Glad everything is safe from the heater problem!! Please!! Please do one more thing electrically for me.. Go Buy a GFCI outlet for your fish tank, as soon as the water would have hit the electricial it would TRIP the tank off!! You won't trip a breaker because of water.. The breakers only trip if you have too much current.. GFCI trip with water.. DO THIS PLEASE!! Anyways.. Goodluck!! |
