Happy's 6feet tank

I'm starting my tank thread here so that I can receive the pointers and learn from all the reefers here.

The tank concept was drawn up somewhere around Oct 2004.

Below are the 4 original drawings.

The view from the side(hole) really does show the 6ft depth. It was originated with the intention to hide the overflow box from sight and yet able to have side view at the same time.

This is the view from the pot hole. Hope you like what you are seeing.

Re: Happy's 6feet tank

I'm a believer in feeding the fishes through out the day.

During the day, I used eheim autofeeder which is set at 8 feeding frequency.
* The auto feeder container is filled fully with ocean nutrition formula1 + formula 2 pellets. A full container last a 4days feeding period.

During the night, I'll thawed approximate 8 ~ 10 cubes of hikari mysis shrimps and flood the whole tank. By flooding, all the fishes will have their share of food.

After that, around 10pm, I'll flood the tank again with cyclopeeze.

Every alternate days, I added in nori for the angels and the tangs.
* My wrasses
