Cycloopeeze feeding.

Pic taken a few months back.

In return for the hearty feeding, all the fishes are free from parasites.

Both the argi and flame dwarf angels mate daily.

Recently my clowfishes have also joined the mating club and started to lay eggs.

Oops, I've changed to Deltec AP902 and the skimming power is truly awesome!

I'm a faithful Deltec fan since the day my AP902 kicks in.

Re: Happy's 6feet tank

I notice you have a red dragon as your return...was there any particular reason you chose a deltec over a bubble king as your skimmer?

My tank will be 2yrs old next yr Jan(new year time).

All the fishes have long passed the aggression phrase. My last addition is the achillies tang and during the initial 1st month, it did receive pretty bad whacking from the PBT and PBrT which both are almost double the achilles size.

One of the reason could be food is readily available all day round and hence there is no need to chase away fishes with same dietary requirement.

Of course, I need to thank to the healthy livestock available in one of the shop in Singapore(Marine Life). I've 100% survivable rate from this shop. Everything bought from this shop survived up to now including the ornamental shrimps. It's quite a miracle as the small ornamental shrimps such as sexy shrimps, "clipping" shrimps etc are still around despite having hawkfish and anthias around.

One of the main reason is that BK footprint is too wide and can't fit into my cabinet. Secondly, I've heard that tuning wise, deltec is a breeze(which proven to be true) as compared to BK.

I've measured AP902's footprint is the max that I can get or else I would have gotten AP1003 due to my heavy fishload.

I believed both are equally great skimmer and work like charm.

Re: Happy's 6feet tank

Previously, before the arrival of my baby son(birth 26 Jan 2006), I've more time on hand. I used to target feed some of my fishes(those slow swimmer) using chopsticks to ensure that they're really well fed.

Re: Happy's 6feet tank

Sharing the video clip of my argi angels spawning activity.

Do downloading with the original capacity(under "Quality" select original) or else the resolution is very poor.

Enjoy!

Re: Happy's 6feet tank

Another video clip showing the other pair - flame angels spawning.

Also do select the original capacity setting for best resolution(under "Quality" select "original").
