Scott, the old fuge was attached to my 60, and when I upgraded to the 90 about a year and a half ago i had no where to put the fuge, so I took it down. I really missed all the stuff that you notice in a fuge so I decided to set one back up! I hope I can make this one like my old one, I really liked that one!

Now I'm getting to know you better. How were your nitrates in your 90G before you set up the new fuge?

Thanks craig! My trates were around 15. The new fuge has only been setup for a short period of time so there hasn't been much of a difference yet! I hope to see a change here in the near future!

yeah, you could do that. It is fairly easy and is great at nitrate reduction!

I think that is what I'm going to do. The position of my tank will not allow me to remove the trickle filter so I have to do with what I have. I'm not that interested in having a fuge per se, just some added nitrate reduction. Besides, what is another 12 square inches of LS going to gain me if I had a fuge?
