| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip When I recently replaced my 2 x 96 watt 03 actinics PC bulbs, I noticed that my corals perked up. I'm thinking that particular type of wave length is beneficial to them. They 03 actinics are much stronger in the 420-430 wave length area than my 10k MH.

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip This is what I'm thinking...2x400 SE pendants 10K reeflux and either 1 48" 96 watt actinic or 2x65 24" actinics. Also i was thinking about T5... Can someone please give me some info on them. I'm kinda resistant to change and am unsure about their ability to produce much light. With the fuge im thinkin either a 20L or a 40L or a 40 breeder. What are your thoughts on this. Also what kinda lights? Thanks all for your responses Matt |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip I've never had T5's either but everyone is raving about how wonderful they are. Don't resist change! Get the largest sump you can. Make sure you know the foot print of the skimmer you plan to get including the pump.... be sure to leave room for other necessities under the stand too!

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip Lol I dont know why i resist change, guss im going to have to just try it out. What i decided to do for lights was 2 t-5 lights and 2x400 watt HQI pendants. Im keeping all my other equipment as its decent. I have an ASM G-2 skimmer. The whole light setup with the Complete 400 watt HQI pendant with ballasts and bulbs, including t-5s will be somewhere around $500. I plan to sell my existing lights too. Thats at whole sale cost. $16 each for the T-5s and $270 each for the pendants. Oh and question, its not pulling much lately like in a week theres not half an inch of stuff. Any ideas on why this could be? Can some of you fuge owners give me a hand on this. Im thinking about doing a 40 gallon breeder or long, not sure. I kind of want to make it a display fuge. and maybe put some gobies in there and make it species only. What are your thoughts on going about doing this. I have had one before with pipefish but this will be on a much larger scale. Any help will be much appreciated, by the way what kind of lights for the fuge? Thanks Matt |
