Ok guys... It is up and running! I bought some halamedia today and took some frags out of my 90 and put them in the fuge... There were several hitch hikers on the halamedia... One was a carnation coral! I have wanted to try one for a long time! Now i get the free opportunity to!

I am really tired right now so ill post pictures of it in the morning! Plus i wanna build the suspense!

ok guys heres the fuge!

Theres my next project... thats a 10 gallon tank under my 20 gallon for an Auto top off system!

Thats one thing i didnt think about, the 20 gets light from the MH's too!

Carnation coral that came as a hitch hiker on the halamedia.

feather calurpa that came with the halamedia.

How can I best care for the carnation coral? What are its needs? I know its a filter feeder and non photosynthetic so where in the tank under 130 watts of PC should it be placed?

Very nice Matt, you've done a fine job! I'm no expert at Carnation coral, but my understanding is that it is difficult to keep in the aquarium. Perhaps you'll find a way! Good luck!

Nice fuge... Carnation is very low light and plankton feeder... so a good current will help so it gets it plankton.. Good Luck with it...

ok, thanks for the responses guys! I have a couple questions though, If i were to get a goby/pistol pair, how loud would the pistol be? and what would be a good pistol and goby to get that will pair up?

I have a yellow watchman goby and a pistol shrimp.. They are adoreable together..

Ditto, yellow Watchman goby/pistol shrimp. I have the drabby, Gulf shrimp that came with my live rock. There are prettier ones from the Pacific with red coloration. BTW, did you frag that leather coral and if so how? I understand they are very easy to cut and glue. Have you had good success?

Ok, cool... I might try to get a little bit more of a different goby besides a yellow watchman just because they arent my favorite to say the least...

Which leather are you talking about? The devils finger? or a different one?

I have Yashia Gobys and Randali Pistol shrimp... they are not very loud but then again mine is only packin a 380...

Thanks all for the advise! Here is what I am planning on doing with this fuge. As of right now I only have a citron goby in there that has been a fish that has been in my systems for about 3 years. I plan on adding a
Yahasa/Pistol pair... Brotha I think that the pistol i get could pack a shot gun!
Dragon Pipefish
1 maybe 2 banded pipes

What do you guys think?

Also heres some pics I took of some stuff in the fuge as of 10 min ago!
