| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip Lol thanks for the name suggestions. I decided that I was going to have to combine two names that I liked, so the name is going to be Acid Patches... What do ya think? Craig he does have some pretty nasty teeth, he tries to use them too! The one blue tang picture looks like he is flying or something... Kinda weird! Matt |

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip Thanks all. Blue_eyes- yeah they do seem not to mind the camera. I was told that the anthias would be shy, but they are anything but that! Well today was a project day. The goal was to set up saltwater and R/O holding tanks for quick and easy top off and water changes. Decided to take pictures of the process and show it to you guys in case you are planning on doing something similar. I started off using a 32 and 44 gallon Brute trash cans. These are located in the basement. I ran a line down from the R/O unit on the first floor and connected it to a float switch to stop the R/O when the trash can is full. I am using 2x Quiet One 3000 pumps for mixing/circulation. I am using a stealth heater to heat the saltwater. Its kind of hard to explain so here are some pictures of the whole thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() The upstairs R/O unit. ![]() ![]() ![]() Salt can with mixing bar at the bottom. ![]() R/O can ![]() Float switch ![]() Line from upstairs ![]() ![]() ![]() First water going in. This allows me to get salt or R/O water by closing/opening a ball valve. The water will come from the tube in the middle. I can also fill the salt tank by opening the 2 on the outside and keeping the one in the middle closed. If you have any questions/comments fell free to post them! Matt |

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: The 90 gallon Road Trip Thanks wolfy! If you need any help i would be glad to do it! I got 2 pieces of huge news! well actually 3... First my clowns started hosting! And of all things to host in they chose zoos and yellow polyps! ![]() ![]() Second my RBTA is finally out of hiding! No pic yet... And third I had a HUGE mass spawing event from my snails... I thought something died because the water is VERY cloudy checked all perams and all good! Then looked at snails and saw white stuff coming from their shells! Any idea if any will live or anything? They are turbo astreas... ![]() ![]() Everything looks fine and seems like the SPS are putting out tentacles and eating the stuff! I am so excited! Matt |
