Re: JFK_Jr's 150 Gallon Starphire

I stuck my hand in the tank today and got a nice little surprise from my little friend here. I've had him for a while and this is the first time he's decided to get up close and personal.

The funny thing is I'm very ticklish... almost burned my arm on the MH....

PS I told ScubaDrew about your awesome new MH bulb. I want one too; but it won't fit in my T5s.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: JFK_Jr's 150 Gallon Starphire

Here's a new acro frag I picked up...

This is interesting... I purchased a purple grape montipora frag at my local frag swap last year and glued it in what I thought was a perfect spot. It grew nicely and started encrusting my live rock. Then all of a sudden it started to die off... not sure why, but later I thought it might have been due to it being in the path of my return pump flow. So I decided to use the shelf left behind to glue a Monti cap frag... well to my surprise, the grape monti has come back to life and is actually starting to encrust all of the previous die off. Strange...

I love these mixed zooanthids... spreading like crazy...

Here's a hitchhiker rock anemone that's been growing and taking on a nice coloration. I'm starting to feed it regularly...
