Thanks Heinz!

No... actually it's Rhodactis indosinensis. I purchased one... and it's divided into about 20 now. They have even spread to the back tank glass.

Oh , one more question I read that you go to Logical Reef or have, do you still go there? I am about 8-12 miles north of that. Is your LFS worth the drive there from here? I couldn't physically do it now, but could put that area on my wish list. Sometimes my friend and I jump in the car and check out the LFS in other towns. There is one in Kissimmee that we go to once in awhile. Also Lynn (Lcstorc) and I hit the LFS together and always on the look out for new ones.

I know that was more than one question.

Thanks for sharing your tank, it is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you!

The best places by me are... and I think Lynn has checked out Reef Life.

It's funny you say that... I was talking with a good friend of mine today from NJ . We were reminiscing about the "good old days" when I first got into reef keeping. Now mind you... this was before the Internet... lol!

This guy worked at a LFS that specialized in reefs. I walked in one day and was blown away by what I saw... as probably many others are when they first gaze at a piece of the ocean just sitting there in a glass box. Those MH glitter lines dancing back and forth across the tank truly mesmerized me!

I sure picked his brains apart... it's amazing we became friends at all! I was just a nuisance always asking questions... sometimes the same question over and over...

To think of how far this hobby has come with sites like this. To be able to instantly tap into valuable knowledge at a moments notice is something that still amazes me!

My advice would be to become a sponge... get to learn who knows there stuff on here and just soak up as much knowledge as you can before making a costly mistake that might discourage you and make you throw your hands up and quit this hobby.

It's sad... but true! Just look at how many used setups there are out there for sale!

Patience is the key to a successful reef!
