Here is my new Oceanic 30 gal cube that I purchased for my QT. It has the nice oceanic stand with smoked black glass and a 96 watt 50/50 PC. I filled it with water yesterday and added a small dead shrimp to start the cycle.

Just added 4 large rocks (1 seeded from my main display's sump), heater, and an aqua clear 500.

Hey I know cube and I like what I see, very nice Doni !!!

If this is going to be a QT I wouldn't use rock or substrate especially if you plan to use copper.

Why not cycle the rocks together?

even if you intend to use copper in this tank, the substrate and rocks can be discarded when you have other intentions for the tank...

It would give the QT fishes places to hide and also it looks better when the visitors come...

Robert - I will not use copper.

Rougiem - yes, it is a coralife pc unit with dual fans. It is soooo cute

Vanquish - I have rock and substrate in there now

I think I will be adding some fake plants too.
