That picture is way cool... I tried Bangai Cardinals about 5 months ago and never was able to get them to feed... eventually I lost them.

You've inspired me to give them a try again... this time I'll make sure they are eating before I bring them home.

Re: cioutlaws 120gal.

after 2 months I finnally found someone who wanted to sell me a lighting system. I tried a local shop that is somewhat new to give him some bussiness. He said no problem but after a month & a half of lies he finnally tells me he cant get what I need!! Wish he was just honest up front. Then I called an online distibutor I have delt with before with good luck. he wouldnt respond to emails so I finnally call & he tries to talk me into something else & then never sends me a qoute he promised. Anyway I ordered everything from Hellolights.com & its all on the way, no back orders. (2) Reef Optics III 250w DE pendants, Sunlight supply Blue wave 7 ballast, phonixs 14k bulbs, URI VHO actinics. Now I will have some motivation to build a canopy!!

WOW! Now I know what I'm going to do when I get ready to enter that weight class. (I'm cycling a 55 to upgrade the 30) Great ideas and execution. I give it 10 clams up out of 10.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: cioutlaws 120gal.

I researched lighting for months & will say it is one of the more difficult decisions of the hobby. I went to buy some frags from a local club member & he had this identical set up. I really liked the color & he was obviously having success with his corals. Before I left I made a parts list

I will be sure to take pics of the canopy build. It might be awhile as im working some major O/T lately.

I dont remember what the par#s are Cheeks.

Here is the tank I modeled my lights after

Re: cioutlaws 120gal.

Cheeks, I emailed The guy with a dup system & these are the par #s from his tank.

The peak PAR was about 1700-1800 right at surface of water. PAR at sandbed was about 300 or so (hard to get a good reading). PAR just under the water surface was ~1000.

iluvzigz..not sure whats wrong with the pic, I cant see it either. here is the link. IMG_1898.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
