Funny how well everything has come along. There was a time when I had quite a few issues with the tank and thought that I would never see the tank mature but by having Patience and being persistent and also learning by reading as much as possible and with forums like these, I was able to pull through and enjoy the tank. Thanks for the comments Woodstock.

Hi Kim, yes that tricolor is my favorite in the reef tank! It has come a long way. Funny thing is looking at it when it was a small frag you would never had guess that it would have turned into the beauty that it is today. The reef tank takes some of my time, the kids take the rest, lol but over all a definite labor of love.

Its just hard to see that when you stare at them every day. I am glad I took pics to remind me of the progress I am having. As for specs just visit my web site for the break down of the tank.
Thanks
P.S. What is Barry Bonds?
After i checked out your pictures i scoped out your website, thats very imprezzive as well. You seems like you want nice things and know how to achieve that goal, keep up the great work and when i get some MH's ill bother you for some frags!

Jiddy

PS The Barry Bonds (baseball player) comment was a very distasteful steriod joke (for you baseball fans)

Thank you very much for the compliments. I am glad people enjoy the web site, I built it in the hopes that it could give people ideas for there own system and a place to find some good information on the hobby. I need to go and check it when I get some time to make sure it is up to date. Also thanks for the explanation of Barry Bonds, I guess he thinks my corals are on steroids, lol

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

I just wish I was good at taking pics and had a decent camera. The camera I have is old and does not capture the reef well at all. I will need to get my sisters camera cause it is a nice one, she can afford the nice things cause she has 1 kid and no reef, I get allot of compliments when people come over to pick up frags. they say wow that is a great selection of corals and beautiful colors and then I start to laugh cause I start to think what it took me to collect all those different corals and how long (2 years) but just after I say to myself if people only knew how much I spent they would drop right where they stand, lol
