Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

Looking good zeosister
I am on day 15. Still have a ways to go. After week 2 your supposed to keep dosing zeostart2 right? and drop the others to 3x week? how soon was it when you started to use other products like the snow?

Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

Hi Frankie , Sorry I missed this.. Zeosister, lol I like that.

Yep use zeostart everyday...Zeostart will be a nonstop thing now..

I believe I started to use snow at about 4 months or after the "little" algae outbreaks went away. You dont want it to feed the algae and I still use it VERY sparingly... I dont think Ive ever done a full dose.

The zeoback and the zeofood, Yes can be reduced to 3X a week and Down the road like around 3-4 months it can be dropped back to 2X a week. Remember after each changing of the zeo media to dose everyday for 10-14 days again.. and than go back to 3 Xs a week...
