Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

Oh my I havent added anything to my thread in a looooong time. Well not much has changed axcept an algae problem.. That is making my tank look really yucky . Im not taking many pictures of the tank for that reason.

Just today, I ordered a double overflow and a single overflow for a sump like Billy98s. I also ordered a sequence return pump. The overflows and the return will be about 2000 gph water flow hopefully to help the circulation problem in my tank.... sooo I will post pictures as I go...

Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

I will. The pump is on its way now.. I talked to Jeff at reeflife.com and he recommended 2 double over flows. So thats what I went with. Billy was size are your sump and refugium again?

Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

Well, one over flow came yesterday.... hmmm Im thinking/hoping I can put it together with one double over flow..
what do you guys/gals think... Im confused on the return and over flow flow thing.

I got a reeflo snapper pump which is rated at about 2500 gph. It will only be from the floor up to the top of the tank which is about 5 feet return height. I know you can tweek back the pump some. But should I have 2 double over flows. The double over flows are rated for 1400 gph... I thought jeff and I from Lifereef talked about 2 double over flows, but he only sent one???? Need some help...

Re: My 265 gallon in wall reef.

I would definately get 2 double over flows. You don't want 2500 gph rushing down one double only. That would be very noisey!
