That's interesting Bob, because I put some in my sump as well about 4 weeks ago and my nitrates are dropping. I have also upped my WCs and my fuge is flourishing, so I don't know what the relationship is?

That's tough to say, Scott, because I had also done about a 12% water change and added 4 cups of fresh activated charcoal at the same time. Well, as long as something in all that worked, I'm happy.

Yeah I don't know why my nitrates are so high they actually dropped to 20 today though so that was amazing! I didn't do a water change yet this week though I ran out of salt so have to get more tomorrow.
