| Golden Moray | Re: hydrometer v. refractometer Yes Boomer it's calibrated at 75 degrees and is dead on the money every time I use it. The adjustment for 80 degrees is minimal. Actually I recently saw a comparison of salinity with swing arms using a refractometer as the standard. The results (surprisingly) were that they were very accurate as long as rinsed with fresh water after each use and ensuring that no bubbles were allowed to remain on the swing arm. I wish I could remember where I read it. |
