| Bryozoan | Reef iodide and reef plus I am currently dosing my starter reef tank with seachem's reef calcium and reef builder. I bought a used tank and it also came along with reef plus. I've also heard about reef iodide. Do i need to add these to my doing regimine? Wont these trace minerals be restored with regular water changes? On another note, what test kits do I need for a simple reef tank? I have a ph probe, salifert calcium, and nitrate. Do i really need alkalinity, nitrite, and ammonia tests? Wont calcium and ph tests eliminate the need for alkalinity test? |

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer ![]() | Re: Reef iodide and reef plus never add what you cant test for. water changes are the best "fix" for a tank.
