| Fire Coral | i very quick red slime algae question... before i dump this yellow stuff in my tank,should i just buy the phoshate removing media pad tommorow or should i add this stuff and still buy the pad? this stuff is called ultra life red slime remover |

I would use a phosphate removing media, change the ro filters, siphon out the slime, clean all filters/sponges, soak all carbon in ro/di prior to use, soak all foods in ro/di prior to feeding, replace any old PC bulbs, and maybe reduce the photoperiod for a week or two. ![]()

| Fire Coral | Re: i very quick red slime algae question... ill do that tommorrow, iguees ill change the water too. since im going to change out some water tommorw ill add this stuff anyways. it works but im not a fan of anything that changes the water color for a few hours lol my RO filters are crystal clear...should i really change em? thanks! |
