GHL Mitras - Clients/ Owners Pics

This is going to be where I post some of the pictures of some of my loyal customer's and various other MITRAS owner's tanks with their GHL Mitras installed. Keep coming back to see progression shots of some tanks.

Re: GHL Mitras - Clients Pics

Here is a direct quote from one of my clients after installing his GHL Mitras

The colors of the unit all blend in very well, I tried to look for individual bands of color and couldn't find any. This light reminds me so much of the MH I use to have over my old tank.

Re: GHL Mitras - Clients Pics

One of my customers posted this up about his new Mitras
Got mine this past monday. Not able to connect it to my Mac via parallels....GHL states issue is on my end, not on them....so ended up getting a PC and after 3 days of having it, I was able to connect it. Did a quick program and AS EXPECTED FROM ANY GHL PRODUCT I HAVE OWNED...AMAZING.
The light looks sleek and VERY WELL put together.
    Performance is AMAZING.
    A+
What amazes me is the different colors I was able to get from all my SPS. Colors I was never able to get before.
I am also getting tons of light coverage even in places my old AI wasn't able to get to.
    Overall 99 out of 100
    The future is HERE.

Here's some "Real World" test results done by a Mitras owner. This has no affiliation with Reef Bytes or GHL in any way.

Interesting Allen. I'm interested in seeing the continued comparison between the Mitras and the Radion. If i'm reading the graph correcdtly, looks like the Mitras has a lot more red wavelength than the Radion.

    Keep them coming!

Re: GHL Mitras - Clients Pics

As more units get installed over tanks (several were delivered over the last couple of days and more in-transit right now) we'll have more "Rea" applications to work with. Thank goodness RodneyRI has all that fancy test equipment.

I'll keep posting more pics and "reviews" here as I get them from Mitras users. This light is getting VERY popular now that more and more people are "seeing" them in use over tanks.

I completely understand Larry. This light isn't the cheapest out there (nor will it ever be) but as of right now it's in a "League of it's own".

I can't afford one at the moment (both my tanks are already LED) but my next tank will be 100% "Mitras Driven".

Re: GHL Mitras - Clients Pics

Here is what another GHL Mitras owner posted yesterday online
After one week of using Mitras, I have seen BETTER coloration with them than with halides or t5. I had AI LEDs before and I agree with you the colors were not as with MH and T5. But with Mitras, I am seeing those colors coming out like wit MH.
then later he posted this as a follow-up
Honestly I am seeing some REDS AND VIOLETS I NEVER saw before not even with MH.

The output of the light is fantastic, ive got it set to give me a rough phoenix 14k look that i ran in my giesemann light. Reds and pinks are still popping too!

with the HV on by themselves the flourescence is noticable, really pop the corals and the rest of the tank is dark...its a nice effect. when other lights are on its hard to see the HV its subtle, turn them off and you notice a layer of color missing from the corals and fish.

we always talk about corals, i have to add that my fish look amazing under this light too, the illumina dulled them out a bit.

i would give one a go if you got the cash to play with.
