| Tubeworm | Re: replacenments bulb just get the 65 watt coralife 10k pc from you local fish store .. make sure its a straight pin and they work great. just take your time putting them in and out of the metal holder clams as they are a bit more snug then the redsea bulbs. slow and careful is the trick when changing bulbs , also try not to touch the end on the bulbs where they are all glass as that is the weak spot on pc bulbs .. way more so after 6 months or so running. there are other brands aswell that will work fine in a 10k only bulb , the coralifes are just easy to find and they are solid built bulbs for the most part. hope this helps |

| RS Sponsor | Re: replacenments bulb rhogea, The RedSea bulbs do indeed put out more par! Those bulbs that come with the Max tank are great! Just replace them about every 3 months for maximum PAR output.

| Tunicate | Re: replacenments bulb thanks everybody, i am looking for a brighter bulb so i already have a new set of stock 55w i will replace and try changing at the 3 month mark as apposed to 6-8 months, i will track my results then make a decision on the 65w. thanks, John |
