The problem isn't the air tube but the skimmer cup height. It's necessary to adjuste the height to obtain a good skimm. | |

| NaClH2O Addicted ![]() | Re: Deltec mc500 and Red Sea 250... here we go! Good news gianluca! RSM skimmer pumps for both the 130 and 250 models are energy hogs! I saw a drop in tank temps. when I replaced my 130 skimmer.

With the Deltec mc500 after a week I can say that I have: 1) lower noise 2) no microbubles problem 3) finally a skimmer that works very well (with ho hole in the cover) 4) dramatically less power consumption 5) no heat issue I'm very satisfied! I'm waiting to do some test, I want to give some times at the Deltec and at least a water change to test the NO3-. Bye |
