What do you feed

Hi all
I have been feeding mysis shrimp

And sometimes dry food Nutrafin Max Marine Granules

The max stuff seams to sink very quick to the bottom and the fish have no time to touch it
my goby gets some and the snail and hermits love it

I just wanted to see what would be best for my current live stock

And how or if i should rotate food

Thanks

Re: What do you feed

Here is some great info on feeding.
Feeding Marine Fish and Marine Fish Nutrition
I go for variety here. I don't want to eat the same thing every day, so I figure my fish don't want to either.

Re: What do you feed

I currently have JBL maripearls, which are great for the clowns, but a bit big for the orchid dottyback.

I also have frozen brine, mysis and rotifers - I mix these into various combinations for the corals, and the fish get the stray bits.

I've also made up my own combination of raw mussel, and shrimp, the mysis, brine and rotfiers which is blended together with some coral food added. I use this for corals, fish and anemone.......

I klike to give a bit of variety!

Re: What do you feed

My fish love & get the following rotated...

Tetra MicroCrabs Cyclop-EEZE Granules
Carnivore Fish Food: Tetra MicroCrabs Cyclop-EEZE Granules

San Francisco Bay Brand Frozen Mysis Shrimp
Aquarium Frozen Fish Foods: San Francisco Bay Brand Frozen Mysis Shrimp

and I really like the San Francisco Bay Brand Frozen Saltwater Multi-Pack

Aquarium Fish Food: San Francisco Bay Brand Frozen Saltwater Multi-Pack

* Four frozen foods offer delicious choices for your saltwater fish

A feast for your saltwater fish! This multi-pack contains twelve cubes each of four delicious frozen food choices for a nutritious and varied diet for all your marine tropical fish. Includes a diet for herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores in a convenient cube package. Simplifies feeding by separating each food individually into easy-to-give portions. Foil cover preserves freshness and prevents freezer burn. Each 1/2" cube is 4.2 grams.

Marine Cuisine is a blend of natural seafood ingredients, spirulina algae, color enhancers, and vitamins. A complete diet for your marine carnivores - provides the same nutritional balance found on a coral reef. Its familiar scent entices fish to feed aggressively.

Emerald Entrée is a complete nutritional package especially for fish that rely on microalgae and vegetable matter as a main nutrition source. Fortified with Omega-3 fatty acids such as EPA and DHA, proven to be important for optimal growth and disease prevention in marine fish. Also contains mysis shrimp, a natural attractant, to stimulate appetite and entice finicky eaters.

100% Squid is an excellent source of protein and a great supplementary food for carnivores such as triggerfish and groupers. Ornamental shrimp and other invertebrates such as crabs and starfish will also enjoy this nutritious treat.

Omega-3 enriched Brine Shrimp, with enhanced HUFA levels, promote fish maturation and breeding while increasing disease resistance. Excellent diet for saltwater fish where these special omegas are a must for the longevity of your fish.

Re: What do you feed

I feed Hikari Mysis, Spectrum pellets on occasion, Squid "keeps them fat", Spiralina flakes "now I will check the label after reading that thread" cyclop. phytoplankton, Omega brine "San Fran Bay Brand", and Ocean Nutrition nano pellets "they were free". I feed twice a day for the fish 2-3 a week for the corals.
