I don't know about the RSM (don't own one yet) but in the rounded corners of my Nano-Cube I use a "Magic Erasor" by Mr Clean. Perfectly safe and does a GREAT job unless it's REALLY thick and heavy. Then it's SCRAPER time!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Here is link to Proctor and Gamble Material Safety Data Sheet

BigAl07 You have had no problems with using this product in your tank? Any scratching of the glass?

Thanks

Re: How did you clean the corraline off the rounded corners on the rsm?

I work in the product safety area of my company now (chemical company), and read and review MSDS several times a day, and I don't see any hazardous chemicals listed. The MSDS looks pretty safe, but I personally wouldn't put it in my tank. This part bothered me a bit: "Hazardous Decomposition Products: Oxides of carbon, oxides of sulfur, aromatic compounds, formaldehyde, hydrogen cyanide." But, I think this most likely refers to releases if the material was burned. The product was obviously not designed to clean the inside of a SW tank, but BigAl07 hasn't seen any problems using it.

I've been using magic eraser pads to clean algae off my tanks for years now, and it works like a champ. I highly recommend them.

Ditto on the Eraser. A lot of aquarium keepers use them. I have not but if BigAl uses one I would feel safe also then.
Nice avatar Terry!
