Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Robbert - great story abou the paint in the tank, and being an owner of a Euro-Reef skimmer for a couple months it's a very believable story! Now if only I could get my Euro-Reef sump version on the way to me (hint hint).

manojkoushik - sorry I couldn't answer earlier (busy busy day at work), but you've already got your answer. As Robert said, once you get it optimized let it be. Cleaning the airlines helps too. If that doesn't do the trick rinse out the mesh wheels.

Nowellsy - you'll be amazed at what the Euro-Reef pulls out! No comparison to the stock skimmers.

Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Hello all. I have a question about my euroreef skimmer. Is it normal for dark bubbles to come out of the four holes on the lid. My skimmer constantly has bubbles coming out of the top. Thanks

Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Hi kiwason. I'm making a guess, but if the bubbles are coming out of the holes on the cup lid you may need to try raising the skimmer if possible. Is the skimmer new or have you had it running for a while?

Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Good point redsea reefer.

kiwason - do you have an RSM, or running a different Euro-Reef skimmer for a different nano tank? No problem either way - I was just curious. As Glenn said - welcome to Reef Sanctuary. This is a great thread for any Euro-Reef owners of any nano tank!

If you want to start a tank thread that would be great, or at least post a tank shot in the Full Tank Shots thread, if you can.

Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Hi guys,
How is everyone doing? How are the Euro nano's doing? Seems I have missed quite a bit and will go through the last few pages.
I finally got to do a water change on the tank, I missed last week.
Fire in some pics of your euroreef chugging out the gunk! I would love to see it!

Re: RedSea Max/ Euroreef Skimmer Page

Good to see you Todd!

Bummer - I just cleaned my almost black cup earlier & didn't think to take a picture. The awesome performance of the Euro-Reef is pretty much a normal occurrence now. No water change this weekend for me either - I spent all day Saturday, till late at night, formatting my wife's PC to get rid of some viruses and adware that nothing would remove, and reinstalling programs. I've done it several times in the past and it's never fun! Today was a needed R&R day!

yeah, I was relocated to Arkansas and am now working on a 90 gallon tank.

If Robbert made something this size I would have gone for it, but oh well. I really miss my skimmer

Sorry about that - I forgot you were relocating.

Edit - I just saw pics of your 90 gallon up above in the forum header pics, and found your tank thread:
