The Euroreef should run about the same if not cooler!. It has two pumps, but they are quite a bit smaller then the stock MAx skimmer pump. Also, this skimmer pumps in about 10 times more air! That in itself is a big cooling effect.

what do you think of the idea of making the cell cast acrylic splash lens and selling those as well.

We are working on the cell cast lens right now. It has to be spash proof and provide a adequate seal to keep out moisture and salt. Yes, it would be a big improvement over the standard lens.

I think it would also be a big improvement too, once you get all the details worked out, how about putting those into production as well.
one more thing, do you recommend using the foam on the bottom of the euroreef skimmer?

Hi Chad,
yes, we are talking about a much more optically clear replacment lens for the max. It's a very big difference.

Yes, you can run it with or without! I have had no trouble with any bubbles running mine without it....

yes, its way more clearer than the rsm lens. REDSEAREEF is working on it and its made out of cell cast acrylic.

What are your predictions on how often we'll need to clean the alloy mesh wheels in the pumps? Just curious...

Also, very interested in a clearer lens cover!!
