No. My "outlaws" decided to come over last night for dinner so there went my plans for installing the skimmer. I'm skimmer-less right now. I'm back at work, but I'm starting to feel a little "sick" so I might have to go home early.

Todd - how do you have your two plugs from the skimmer pumps routed? To the power panel or to a power strip under your cabinet? I have an extra outlet in my power strip since I moved my heater plug to my chiller, but I am not sure if that is the best route.

Any ETA on cast acrylic light shields?

Has any one fed Ocean Nutrition's Formula One while running the ER? I did this AM, and it put it in overdrive! Looked like a Lawrence Welk Bubble machine! Took about an hour to settle down, I had to empty the cup 4 times. I had it raised up as far as possible.

This is day 7 of operation, and the skim output, prior to this, was thicker and more "odiferous". Still have the microbubble at a light dusting snow level.
Definate improvement in water clarity. I'm really luvin it.

Mine run to the box just like all the other cords. My heater is plugged into the back of my chiller. So I have 2 plug in now in the power center! The two run my skimmer pumps. Worked out well for me!

flynfish - I often feed Formula One flake, and it causes increased skimming for a short time. I've never had it go into overdrive though - are you feeding the frozen Formula One? Mine doesn't foam as much after the food as it did when it was still breaking in.
