Ya I like to get rid of mine ASAP. I use Aptasia-X from RedSea and it works like a charm everytime! Cheap too

Re: aiptasia

I worked at a pet store and we used a concentrated Kalk solution that we sucked up into a syringe and injected into the aiptasia. This killed the aiptasia and added calcium to the system. We found this worked extremely well and pretty much got rid of the problem. We had thousands of gallons and only had to do this maybe 4 times a year. Give it a try, it is extremely easy to inject them since the needle can get into all those little cracks easily without disturbing anything else.

Re: aiptasia

The problem I have is that the few I have left are in places I cannot reach. It is very aggrivating. My peppermint (and all of the tank) is too well fed to eat them.

Re: aiptasia

How fast do they spread? Because I've had a big one on a piece of rock for a while and it's the only one that I can see in the tank. BTW I'm in Iowa too!

Re: aiptasia

It seems based on other stories I read, they can spread wicked fast. I got a couple frags that had some big ones. It was almost a month before I noticed the little baby anemones all over.

BTW, Decorah, Iowa? Love that area. I used to go trout fishing up there all the time.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Re: aiptasia

Probably best to take it slow.

It will be less expensive that way too if it all goes to pot.
