DIY Hood prop for older RSMs

For those running the older RSM model, and find it a PITA working in the pump chamber because you need 3 hands, an extra person to hold the hood up for you, or have been removing the whole hood, try this:

It worked great for me. Some have used a block of wood, but I preferred the corrugated cardboard, as it's a more flexible and easier to jam under the right side of the hood. It's cheap too!

Re: DIY Hood prop for older RSMs

Hey - be nice to us older model RSM owners! Where there's a will there's a way!

After all - it was our input in forums, and Red Sea paying attention, that got you those improvements that are on your 130D - you owe us a thanks!
