What type of sand should i use for my new 130d?

that's really up to you and your eyes. Some people love WHITE sand and some DARK sand.

Aragonite is my choice

I use crushed argonite 1-2mm

If you got the kit with your tank you get a bag of aragonite!!! And it's great stuff too, as it's spherical in shap so it does not clump up on you!
I used mine that came with the tank and I love it!!!!

I'll agree with redseareef - the Red Sea aragonite is a nice substrate. IMO any aragonite based stuff is good as it can help buffer the tank as well. A lot of folks seem to avoid the crushed coral substrate that has large chunks, since detritis can get trapped by the large particles.
