What type of foam blocks are you referring to? IF your talking about the foam blocks you put into a filter for mechanical filtration I would inquire with your lfs~

for my emperor400 #1 Big Als Aquarium Supplies. Bargain Prices On Fish Supplies: Fish Tanks, Stands, Decorations, Accessories has the 4 pack for $6, as apposed to $18 at my lfs

also look into Pet Supplies, Dog Supplies, Cat Supplies, Pet Meds & Pet Products , they have some good deals

I just got a new RSM powerhead pump from marineandreef.com. They show the RSM black sponge at $6.30, but out of stock. I only found a couple sites selling the black sponge and both I just found were out of stock. I suppose you could call Red Sea and see if they have any in stock. By the way, the sponge now comes with one corner cut off - a Red Sea upgrade so that the sponge doesn't totally plug up and cut the flow in back.

Maybe the type of sponge that some use in a sump could work if big enough to cut to size?

Thanks everyone. the one I' speaking of is the RSM one. RM will look into it. Also is that new overflow ready for sale?
