Zoo Med power sweep powerhead?

Zoo Med Aquatic Power Sweep Powerhead Wavemaker at PETCO

Anybody use one of these in the RSM, or otherwise? I went ahead and got one, the price was right.

Re: Zoo Med power sweep powerhead?

I'd looked at the Power Sweep also, but the reviews weren't the best. I think one RSM owner had one in his clam tank (not in his RSM) and said it did a good job, but it took frequent cleaning to keep it working well.

You could always get one of these:

Vortech MP20 in the RSM

But, the Koralias are great and work well (and are economical). Most RSM owners have one (#1 or #2) in the back right corner.

They're like a '60's vintage Jaguar. Wonderful, when they work. Keeping them working is the trick!
