The LED products are not sold under Current-USA for a few reasons – a main one being we wanted to have more control over how they are sold and control the retail/MAP pricing more. Unfortunately going through distribution now makes that almost impossible.

Hi Tony, I'm gonna be using the same fixture with the 40B..for now. I'm no hurry setting up the 40B as I'm still on the planning stages. I got the tank and stand, sump and return pump. I still need the overflow box, plumbing parts and a skimmer. If I do decide to change my lights, you be the first one to know.

TonyV - thanks for the link. Interesting LED fixtures, but I wonder if they put out enough light for SPS. Expensive also. I do like the hinges, but the mount might be tough with having the LifeReef siphon in back. I'll stick with the proven technology of MH. I'm not confident that the LED technology is quite there yet.

LED is the future but it's not quite there yet compare to halides and T5s. The only time I will consider getting a LED fixture is when I see it above a full blown SPS tank...LOL. Anyway, I got some new T5 bulbs for my fixture today. I got 3 ATI blue+ and 1 KZ fiji purple. I see all of my bulbs right now has a dark shade at the end. Is it time to replace them? I'll post some pics once I get them installed...maybe tomorrow or this weekend.

Nice Manny. What mode and speed were you in? Were your circ pumps off? My Vortech fights the circ pumps and I can never get a nice ripple like that.

tom,tony and tammy- thanks for the props! It's in reef crest mode, about 60-70% i think. My return pumps were on when i shot the video.
