| Midas Blenny | Re: Setting up my RSM Refugium got a chance to buy a 2nd hand one in great condition otherwise i would be going for a cheaper one that's for sure. just getting bits as they come up for sale,i have spend a fortune in the past couple of months on corals mp20 and my aquatronic system the better half is starting to give me that look you know the one !!!! |

The guy I got it from only ran it a month - he has the great job of being given free tanks and equipment to test and review for suppliers. Mine was also like new - original box, parts. It didn't even look used at all.

| NaClH2O Addicted ![]() | Re: Setting up my RSM Refugium Hi mrfishy - you can probably find a tank volume calculator online, somewhere. I've seen them, but can't remember where. Mine is just a standard 10 gallon tank, which I used to leave me space for my ATO reservoir, to keep it all out of sight. Keep in mind that the sump/fuge won't be filled to the top, so you won't get the total volume that the sump could hold - a lot will depend on your baffles, plus you need extra volume to account for the water that will drain back into the sump when the return pump is shut off, or if you lose power.
