| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: What do you feed? I alternate days...Mysis/Brine/squid/sliver sides/krill....soaked in a choped garlic solution, the opposite day I feed a Marine Flake. For my Filter feeders, every other day I add...Bioplankton, Zooplex, Phytoplex and then I target feed once a week.

| Torch coral | Re: What do you feed? I use zooplex 1 tsp, 1/2 tsp cyclopeeze, vitachem a few drops, 3 cubes of mysis, 1 cube daphnia, 1/4 tsp of flake , and a smidge of oyster eggs and do this daily.. i used to use Eric's recipe for fish and corals, but gets messy, and chunks tend to get caught, so this works well..

| Midas Blenny | Re: What do you feed? I honestly believe that feeding fish a diet as close to the one in nature is going to be the most beneficial in the long term health of the fish, so the frozen/ live food gets my vote I like to have 6 or 7 types made into a soup then I make my own tiny ice cubes so I don't give them too big a dose and cause a cess pool in my tanks. I think adding beneficial live critters like pods are great even if they don't get eaten. |

| Midas Blenny | Re: What do you feed? Question on the use of Nori. I offer Nori to my PB tang and Foxface, and they go nucking futs over the stuff. I give them 1/3 sheet everyday. Am I overfeeding? When I offer it to them, they attack it as if they haven't eaten in a few days. PB and Foxface are approx. 4 inches I'm having a bit of an algae issue, and I'm wondering If i'm overfeeding... |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: What do you feed? As long as they eat all the nori and not just rip it off for it to float away and rot in the tank, you are not overfeeding. Keep your trAtes in check via frequent water changes.. tangs can be very pigs at the dinner table and poopie a LOT. Also, keep the po4 low by using phosban/rowaphos continuosly! Nusiance algae won't be a problem without po4 and trAtes.

| Pistol Shrimp | Re: What do you feed? I have been feeding the fish frozen mysis and the corals minced mysis and cylopleeze (syringe fed. I feed each polyp a tiny squirt) and the rock anemone fresh shrimp. As of yesterday REALLY FRESH SHRIMP, as in one that was walking around my tank. Today I bought live black worms, the fish like those alot too.

| Sea Pen | Re: What do you feed? i dont feed much and dont reccomend feeding as a daily or even every other day but when i do feed everything in my tank goes nuts for silversides depending on what critter it is i mash it up and feed or just feed chunks to certain corals and fish i think over feeding is the one of the hardest things i had to overcome remember: Food = pollution i like my water clear and low maintaince |
