Biocube 29 or 46 bow front for bedroom tank

so I'm torn between a Biocube 29 or a 46 Bow front for a Reef tank in my bedroom. I like the idea of having a nice compact system with the BIOCUBE but i also like the shape of the 46 bow.

obviously the cost could be an issue. the biocube would be cheaper i think in the end but let's not consider that in this poll.

so please vote above..

Biocube 29 or 46 bowfront tank.

if you like please tell me why you picked what you did! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

personally i say the 46. alot easier to upgrade and play around with equipment wise, unlike biocubes

Go with the 46, when it comes to aquariums bigger is better.

all in ones are not for me.

(you pay way to much for crapola you'd never use or have to upgrade anyways)

I will bet money that 2 weeks into it you will want something bigger no matter how big you go...

Hi got a bio 29 G , its great to learn the trade, but if you got the space go with the 46, then you"ll go to a 65 or 90 like i'm doing now.

I'm still torn... but the 46 is now winning in my mind.... i'm thinking that i like the longer look vs the cube.. more to see and i like life in "widescreen"

Re: Biocube 29 or 46 bow front for bedroom tank

well.. i have made my decision.. as much as i would like to do the 46 bow i am going to have to go with the Biocube 29 for the bedroom tank.

After going over the plans for the new house (next year) i have to keep in mind where things are going to go and what would be "wasted" purchases up to that point...

the Biocube will work well in my current bedroom and when i am in the new house it will be perfect for my office or as a conversation piece in between the kitchen and the open family room area....

The GF's 60 gal will go in the bedroom (assuming things go well of course)

and the finished basement will be home to a monster tank.. not sure if i'd go with an in-wall build or a ZERO EDGE AQUARIUM custom job and design the room around the tank...

so thanks for the insight on what tank i should go with..

i had a bio cube it is a nice starter tank but you will out grow it. and nothing is reusable. but you should make sure the bow has an overflow.
