| Serpent Star ![]() | Re: Do you turn off flow when feeding reef? Leave everything run as normal. I too have a filter sock which gets cleaned daily. By keeping everything running, this alows the food to move around the tank and feed everything that is hungry. I have a special way of target feeding with DT's that involves a 2 liter soda bottle (cleaned of course) that I cut the bottom off and I stick my turkey baster into the top and I can directly feed a coral or my clam wthout disturbing anything. Works like a charm!
