Yellow Tang: "Lucky" because he survived being sucked into a power head.
My fish usually die when they are named so I try not to name too many of them.

Re: Fish Names

I see that many of us think alike when it comes to our shrimp
I have a skunk cleaner named "Pepe La Pew" also, and he has a girlfriend (or so I tell myself) named Penelope. Used to have a peppermint named Patty, but I think my 6-line ate her in my old nano cube.

I have a pair of ocellaris in my QT, one black and white, one orange and white, waiting to be named. Any ideas anyone?

Re: Fish Names

Cool names!
Shrek the pink spot goby- he's a dead ringer for his cartoon counterpart, except for the green part.
Mandy the (male) mandarin- maybe he doesn't mind the girl name
Scotty the Scribble face rabbitfish named for and recommended by an RS member
Trixie the scooter dragonette purchased and named in honor of my 19 year old Chow/Collie mix dog which passed away last year.
Bobo the clown fish- he's not very funny though

I never thought of naming my shrimp...hmmm.

Re: Fish Names

Don't get it...

This does remind me of a funny stor--OT--but this isn't such a serious thread, is it?

We had our dog at puppy obedience school. The teacher is teaching us to keep our dogs from jumping on people, and says to gently knee them when they jump up on you and give the command "Off" with their name, then goes around the room having everyone practice. 1st dog she says: "Spot, Off", 2nd dog, "Tucker, Off", gets to our dog, "Jack..." never finishes the command, turns bright red and says, "Nevermind...you need a different command."

Hope this wasn't inappropriate.

Re: Fish Names

Jack daniels
Jack damsel

My Grandma got a dog named Jack years ago, my aunt was at her house, on the phone. The guy on the other end of the line hears in the background a lady chanting "Jack, get off now! Jack off. Jack off"
