My 10k is only on for 5 hours. No need for anymore if no one is there to enjoy it. Helps keep the algae in check too

Re: Lighting Photoperiod

I have mine set to:

Leds On 24/7
Actinics On 12:30pm
Daylight On 1:30pm
Daylights Off 11:30pm
Actinics Off 12:30am

Fuge light is on 24/7 now but I may take it back to opposite of the main lights due to system stable and all water parameters reading VERY good. No need for increased Cheato Growth as long as tank is in good shape.

Here is another link I think similar
Timing of Lights?

Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Re: Lighting Photoperiod

I voted on my "main lights" being on. So 9 hours for the halides and an hour before and after for actinics.
