| Star Polyps | Re: Tank size/how many fish? 65 gallon, with 22 gallon sump/fuge: 1 Dwarf Zebra Lionfish 1 Lawnmower Blenny 2 Tank-bred False Percs 3 Bluefin Damsels 1 Coral Beauty Going to try to talk the wife into getting rid of the Damsels. I caught them stirring up the sand. I thought it was the blenny doing it.. but those little "damn"sels were the wise guys making a mess of my tank. Plus, that would cut the bioload down somewhat. |

| Neon dottyback | Re: Tank size/how many fish? OK, let me have it folks - here I go!! 1 - 3" Niger Trigger 1 - Oscellaris pair (one is 1" the other 1-1/2") 1 - 1" Hippo Tang 1 - 1-1/2" Bangaii Cardinal 1 - 1-1/2" Scooter Blenny (just got this one the other day - gotta get some copepods quick )1 - Fire Shrimp 1 - Cleaner Shrimp "A ton" of small nassarius snails I took from the beach at Centre Island NY this past June - nearly all still alive and well 1 - 3" Red/Green Open Brain 1 - 5" Leather 1 - "Multi-zoa" colony rock 1 - Baseball-sized Palythoa colony To offset this huge bioload I do an approximately 50-75% natural seawater change each week (yet ANOTHER thing I have caught holy hell for on this site! I am PLANNING on getting a RO/DI unit but have not made the switch just yet). OK, I can take it - fire away! |
